Price Controls Ahead for Colleges and Universities
InsideHigherEd.com, Other Presidents before President Obama have instituted price controls, but yesterday was the first time that an American President warned that he may impose controls on college tuition. That's an interesting concept though it tends to reflect what Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels refered to at this Aministration's "trickle down government" approach. A market approach which allows competition by lower cost Internet providers could force colleges to halt tuition "leap." Our Bob Schaffer: Chairman, Colorado State Board of Education, and former U.S. Congressman

Colorado's Bob Schaffer is a very active citizen. He is the elected Chairman of the Colorado State Board of Education, founding Principal of Liberty Common High School in Ft. Collins, Colorado, former U.S. Member of the House of Representatives where he served on the House Education and Workforce Committee and an active commentator on education for the National Journal.
